Responsive website design is an approach used by developers which creates dynamic change to the appearance of a website depending on the screen size and orientation of the device being used to view. Rather than creating a whole new, separate site with the corresponding code for the different sized screens, (wide-screen monitor, desktop, tablet or phone), a single code can support users with different sized screens.
In responsive design, page elements will reshuffle and move around depending on the size of the view port. An example of this would be a three-column desktop design will reshuffle down to a two-column design for tablets and then would go down to a one-column width for a phone user.
• One Page Website
Do you need a website for your business but don't have loads of content? A one page site could be your answer. A simple option for those with less content. This design allows you to put everything onto one page with the use of parallax scrolling. It makes the experience more continuous and fluid for the user, whilst also being mobile friendly.
A one page website also known as a single page website uses minimal design that compiles all your information together onto one page. Users will scroll down to read content or use the nav bar to navigate them down to the relevant section. This is the most popular style of website we design and develop. This is created in order to provide a customised and branded resource for potential and active customers. These websites are usually content and design driven to give the customer the information they require before making contact. A brochure style website is the online equivalent of a printed brochure containing all relevant information about your company. Unlike a printed brochure, you can upload videos and or audio to your site which makes it much more interesting and exciting.
